High Fashion: Rihanna’s Most Iconic Looks

She could cover anything with glitter and make that shit gold. She’s talented, intelligent, and can literally do no wrong in our book. Of course, I’m talking about everyone’s favorite icon, Rihanna.

Not only is she a talented singer, business mogul, designer, philanthropist, and actress, but our queen also knows how to slay the red carpet (with blunt/glass of wine in hand of

As creative director for Puma and model for magazines such as Vogue, Rolling
Stone and Vanity Fair (just to name a few), no one could argue that she’s made a name for herself in the fashion industry.

So in no particular order (because she rocks every single look), we put together a list of some of her most high fashion moments.

1. Comme des Garçons – 2017 Met Gala

In 2017 Rihanna effectively shut down the red carpet by being one of the only attendants at the Met Gala to come dressed in the style of avant-garde designer Comme des Garçons. With a top knot and an ultraviolet holographic highlight she stood out in a sea of plain dresses and served face in the beautiful, architectural piece she wore straight off the Comme des Garçons exhibition.

2.  Victoria Secret Fashion Show – 2012

There was, of course, the time she walked down the runway at the VS fashion show and put all of the models to shame. Rihanna wore a corset and skirt by Adam Selman as well as a sheer pink ensemble by Adam Selman. She quite literally stole the show.

3. Oscar De La Renta – Fenty Beauty Launch in NYC 2017

Flawless is all I can say. At the 2017 Fenty Beauty launch in NYC she rocked her beautiful signature yellow color in this Oscar de la Renta gown. She had an ethereal glow which I think was partly due to her Killawatt Freestyle Highlighter and partly because she’s in fact a goddess.

4. Slaying Street Style

The hoops, the shoes, the jacket! Not everyone can pull off this Dolce & Gabbana coat but Rihanna looked effortlessly cool as she gave a sneak peek to one of her first Fenty lipsticks.

5. Diamond Ball – 2014

Of course, every girl needs a well-deserved blunt with her fashion crew after a night out at the ball. She’s a modern-day Cinderella in this gorgeous Zac Posen design.

6. Dior and Chill

Having been a fan of Dior since her Pon de Replay days, it’s no surprise that Rihanna came out to support their 2014 fall collection in Paris. Could you imagine seeing Rihanna walking down the Champs-Élysées in this fierce ensemble?

7. Coachella Lewks

Of course, we also love our queen when she has time to rock out. Pack the weed and the glitter bodysuit and you’ve got your ingredients for a pretty lit festival weekend. Btw the bodysuit was also another look straight off the runway! And we can’t forget when she rolled a joint on her body guards head

8. RiRi Antoinette

Channeling some serious Versaille vibes, RiRi Antoinette is the stoner girl queen we all need. “Let them smoke cannabis.”

9. Azzedine Alaïa: Grammy Awards 2013

She’s just so elegant! The sheer red crisscross Azzedine Alaïa gown matched with her red nails and red lipstick took old Hollywood glamor to the next level. She floated down the red carpet just in time to receive her award for Best Music Video on We Found Love.

10. Cannabis Bride: Halloween 2012

We had to finish out the category with her cannabis bride inspired Halloween costume. Hopefully her next business adventure is creating a Fenty strain so all can behold the magic of Rihanna.

Which RiRi high fasion look is your fave? Which other stylish stoner babes do you look up to? 💅🏾 Let us know in the comments!
