Weed Chat With: Carly of Stoner Girl’s Kitchen

Smoking & eating… is there any better combo? We sat down with Carly, founder of Stoner Girl’s Kitchen to get some recommendations and recipes. But first, let’s get to know the babe behind the brand.

Hey Carly! Thanks so much for sitting down with us to chat. We’d love to know – when did you first start enjoying cannabis?

I started enjoying cannabis in high school when I was 14-years-old

What is your can’t live without munchie?

That is a tough question, I think I can’t live without chewy candies… sour or regular.

What do you think is the most challenging thing about being a lady stoner?

The most challenging thing about being a lady stoner is looking good while having the munchies. I have struggled with my weight since I was a kid so those munchie cravings are hard to deal with when you are trying to stay trim.

What are your must-haves for a girls night sesh?

  • Ben and Jerry’s Ice cream, Always a must. Can share a pint or have your own 🙂
  • Candies assortment some sour and regular (licorice, sour cherries, sour watermelon, strawberry)
  • Reeses Cups with Reese’s pieces inside.
  • Homemade Nachos for some saltiness. I always keep the essentials at home to make nachos

Can you share one of your top Stoner Girl’s Kitchen recipes with us?

  • Guacamole (avocado peeled and mashed, diced red onion, diced tomato  salt, pepper and lime juice, cilantro to taste)

Tell us, how did Stoner Girl’s Kitchen get started?

This page started with me and my friend wanting to post and share our recipes. We are both stoners so we called it the stoner girls kitchen. We even hoped to publish a cookbook and started off calling ourselves the stoner girls cookbook.

My friend and I started when we were both engaged and with the upcoming wedding, she was cooking a lot less. I was still cooking but decided to post more of the meals I ate out since they were more “junky”.

My friend left me to run the page myself because she thought I had the voice for it. She also runs a social media company and did not have the time. So here I am posting as much as I can. I have VERY loyal followers who I love and hope that they love what I am doing.

I have a huge love-hate relationship with social media since I have been bullied on it before so I do not like to always be on Instagram. I do it for my followers and maybe one day this page will bring me somewhere.

What are 3 things you always have in your purse?

I always have a lighter, a perfume bottle and a phone charger

When you aren’t posting on insta or medicating what do you enjoy doing?

When I am not posting/medicating I like to watch movies, read books and I love to eat

Where are you from?

I am from Montreal, Quebec Canada
